It's here! After a whole year of waiting, the Royal Norfolk Show is back in all it's glory. Held at The Norfolk Showground, this huge 2 day event attracts over one hundred thousand visitors every year and hosts a range of events, stands and attractions.
This year we are going to be exhibiting with our newest Wild Rover Shepherds Hut. With it's towable Ifor Williams Trailer, delivery was much quicker than last year! Guests at the event will be welcome to look inside, relax and feel the quality of our huts. We'll also be breaking out the Pimms and barbeque once the sun goes down, so free free to join us then as well! Like last year, we've supplied the events coordinator Sonia Bell and her team with a traditional, etal-wheeled Shepherds Hut as an events office- So we can show you both types!

After an intense week at the workshop with the full team, we're all chuffed for the completion of our latest Wild Rover! Finished in time for the Royal Norfolk Show, this is our unique, mobile Shepherds Hut which was built on a suspended, towable Ifor Williams chassis, but with our classic Shepherds Hut on top. But what does the inside look like? If you want to see our first reveal to the public then come along to the show where we'll be exhibiting the Wild Rover. We'll even be pouring Pimms from 2 0'clock in the afternoon and whipping out the acoustic guitar after sunset so come along and join us! On Friday we delivered our latest Retreat hut to the exquisite 15th Century country house Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk. This was most cathartic, as Chief Combobulator Wong still has harrowing memories of getting stuck inside Oxburgh Hall's "Priest-hole" as a fat child. The stately manor is an iconic part of Norfolk, drawing in thousands of visitors a month. Our hut sits outside the walls, resplendent in the National Trust's own colours, as a recruitment hut and features a custom built oak desk with the National Trust logo inlaid, overhead shelving, lights and a sofa with a built in kick heater. As the property is of course a listed building, the Shepherds Hut made an ideal solution for a low-impact, planning-friendly and ultimately movable office. |
