What makes a Poachers Hut?

While some Shepherd Huts are designed for daytime and occasional overnight use, some people want something a bit more permanent- by building in a kitchen and bathroom into your hut, you'll hardly need or want to leave!

Usually between 18 and 20 feet, they are made to a larger size than our standard huts and can feature a number of clever space saving and storage solutions, such as compact corner stoves and raised beds with storage. We don't make any compromises on the quality or function of the hut, so the experience in one of our Shepherd huts is nothing like a caravan!

We developed The Poachers Hut as our  signature fully inclusive luxury Shepherds Hut for a real home-from-home experience. Built between 16 and 20feet long, with a specially reinforced chassis, the hut contains an en-suite bathroom complete with a toilet, shower and hand basin. 

In the main room of the hut, in addition to a bed you can have a wood burning stove and a fitted kitchen, complete with an oak worktop and cupboard base units, Belfast sink and mixer taps and overhead cupboards. The kitchen is designed to be compact but fully functional, with options for a fridge, microwave/grill and induction hob.

A raised bed conceals the water heater and provides a huge storage space. Other options can include wood burning stoves, bookshelves and even wall mounted televisions. 
With their luxurious, and all inclusive fit out, these huts are ideal for outdoor country wedding venues, high end campsites, B&B's and Self Catering Holiday Cottages.
