Here at The English Shepherds Hut Company, we also create a range of bespoke timber framed buildings throughout East Anglia under the name Timberpad. Often built to larger sizes than our hut, but with the same strict high standards, and design flexibility, these compliment our huts well and we are equally proud of them! | This week we completed The Hive, a garden studio for a Norwich Client who runs a busy textiles workshop business. Designed completely to her specification, this Timberpad includes features such as a sink, task lighting, curved worktops and a unique custom-built sliding door shelf system. The curved roof is built in exactly the same way as in our Shepherd Huts, fully insulated and ideal for getting a lofty space within permitted development. |
| The outside is clad in our classic larch feather edge, painted in a summery pale blue. In addition to the standard mood lighting within the hut, we built in exterior lights and an array of task lighting, from a fluorescent tube system and hidden LED lights above the work desks. As we bespoke-built it, rather than simply providing an “off-the-shelf” solution, we were able to make it to an exact measurement to fit 50 of our clients containers of varying sizes- you wouldn’t get that kind of service in a flat pack! |
