Huts away to greece!

Today we bid a fond farewell to one of the most elaborate and customized Shepherds Huts we've built to date. Not only this, but the hut will also be shipped to a private island in Greece!  After finishing the hut, we packed away all the extras and outside lights on the inside of the hut, and then pallet wrapped the entire hut for safety before

This hut is certainly one of the larger ones we've built at 20ft, and is built on our road towable Wild Rover chassis. The exterior is painted in a bright and cheery combination of Farrow & Ball Blazer red and Charleston Grey, chosen by the client, and features hardwood doors and exterior shutters, as well as a stylish interior theme, including lights and fittings in antique brass from Jim Lawrence.

The Shepherds Hut was designed as a mobile guest room, to offer spectacular views over the island.

The fit out includes a kitchen and height-adjustable breakfast bar, as well as an air conditioning unit, built in Bose invisible ceiling speaker system, antique brass plated switches and sockets and a matching array of Jim Lawrence Gladstone ceiling lights and Drummond Picture lights.

With features including retractable fly screens in the doors and windows, antique trap lamps and lead planters on the outside, we really went the extra mile to make our client's vision for their hut a reality. The build also included some novel designs, such as a built in speaker cabinet and a cabin style bunk bed, complete with Jim Lawrence reading lights- You won't be able to buy beds like this off the shelf!
