This week we had the delight of delivering a brand new Boutique Glamper to Top Farm, one of Norfolk’s best kept secrets! This peaceful and isolated setting boasts some spectacular views and the sort of sweeping hilltop view not normally expected from Norfolk! Just a quick drive from Norwich, this place is an ideal couples retreat.
However, we didn’t want to keep this to ourselves and plan to launch this site in style with a huge glamping themed networking event! This “Campfire Supper” was brought together with the fine minds of Clive from Top Farm, Boo Marshall from Eliza Boo Photography and Libby of Libby Ferris Flowers and is a stylish vintage camping celebration with food, drink and live music.
With kind donations and collaborations from a number of local businesses (Woodfordes Brewery, Bewilderwood, Essence Foods and The Madder Market Kitchen to name but a few) and fantastic music acts such as The Dog Days of Summer, this event, planned for the 11th June promises to be an absolute stonker- guest list numbers 60 and is growing!
If you’d like to attend and feel like you could contribute to the party and networking, feel free to give Ben a call on 01603 397777 and introduce yourself! Follow the details on Twitter, @timberpad #campfiresupper
In the middle of the Norfolk Broads lies an unlikely hidden Oasis- The East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens. A 30 year project by genius gardeners and owners Alan and Graham, this botanical marvel boasts untold numbers of rare and interesting plant varieties in a stylish and tasteful setting. In preparation for their open garden show on the 8th June, we have the honour of placing our own Bantam Shepherds Hut Little Nancy in a prime location.
We managed to get unload Nancy from a trailer despite an incredibly tight squeeze and without damaging a single plant- Proof that when there’s a will, there’s a way! The weather could not have been better so an impromptu photo shoot was in order - We even managed to get a few snaps of their ingenious shrubbery porthole, glimpsing the Happisburgh Lighthouse.
After an enjoyable few weeks at this prestigious location and even a brief mention on BBC Look East, Little Nancy has now been refitted with a double bed and is available for holiday bookings at The Hollies Kessingland holiday park.
Chief Combobulator Wong. While the rest of the team gallivant and build Shepherds Huts, I sit here and combobulate.
